Safari v17.2.1 for macOS Ventura?

Apple security releases - Apple Support says so, but I don't see it offered in this 13" Intel 2020 MBP. :( What about the rest of you?

Is it Still Safe to Use Safari 15.6 with my MacBook Pro(Mid 2012)? I upgraded my MacBookPro Mid 2012 (MPB) to Catalina OS (10.15.7) a while back and everything seems to be working fine. However, I have recently been getting notifications on certain websites (Gmail, most prominently) that the Safari that I am running (15.6) is out of date for these websites and may not function properly. I tried to update Safari using Settings, but it seems that this Safari version is the best I can run with Catalina and Catalina is the most recent OS I can run. Any thoughts here? My biggest concern is whether I am losing security protection by continuing with this older version of Safari. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

WHICH SECURITY UPDATE DO I NEED TO UPDATE SAFARI VERSION 14.1.2 I am still using Mojave 10.14.6. I would like to update my Safari Version 14.1.2 but there are so many options. Also, does anyone know if I'll lose all my documents that are 32bit when doing so? I'm not terribly techy so please explain as if I were an old lady Appreciate any suggestions MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)

I'm having trouble with some websites on Safari 13.1.2 I have a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017) using macOS High Sierra v 10.13.6. Having trouble with some websites due to "out-of-date" browser. I love my machine and am reticent to change hardware or upgrade to a newer OS (if that is even possible). I have browsed other similar posts on the community with similar problems, and it seems that going to Mozilla or Brave may be the way to go. (John Galt's recommendation). I investigated Mozilla, and it seems that Mozilla ESR is the ticket, however, after September of this year (2024) they will no longer send security upgrades (only up through ESR 115? After that they recommend upgrading my OS. That evidently will get me to September, but I would like a longer term solution without upgrading my OS. Am I dreaming? When I checked out Brave, I couldn't find out the system requirements for their product. Will I be facing a similar situation with Brave? If I have to upgrade my OS, I will. If I need to chuck the MacBook, I will. But don't want to if at all possible. I like my 2017 MacBook! Somebody help me with my dilemma. Thanks in advance. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Try while in Safe Mode.

Not only for Ventura, but also Safari 17.2.1 for Monterey 12.7.2 in Software Update.
