Some manual intervention is required I think.
If you received an .ics file in the email you could click on this and authorise it to be added to your calendar. You are at the mercy of the sender though as regards the detail, and you would have to tailor the event entry to your requirements.
Or you could use the prompt you may get in mail to create an event in Calendar app, but again this may not bring with it any of the detail which you mention.
The third option is to create the event yourself.
When you add an event to your calendar you will see a field called Travel Time. This is where you can elongate the entry in your calendar by adding the time it will take for you to travel to your event, which in your example would be the trip to the airport.
Other textural information can be entered in the Notes area, and if you search for and add the address of the airport (in the Add Location field under the event's title) a map will appear at the foot of the event's panel. If you click on this the Maps app should fire up and offer the best route to your destination.
