Audio controls on Lock Screen not working. IOS 17 on iPhone 15 pro

The audio controls show on the Lock Screen but do nothing - cannot stop/start or control sound. There was an earlier post about this. I’ve tried deleting all settings, updating my phone and doing a hard restart - nothing has worked! Suggestions?

Iphone audio on control center adjusting automatically Why is the volume through the control center constantly resetting itself on its own down right through to mute. I have tried everything and this is still happening. I have updated the software, i have reset and rebooted the phone yet its still happening?
