Lockdown browser Karabiner on MacBook Pro

I have to take some exams with a lockdown browser that requires all apps in the background to be shut off.

The karabiner_elements app and it's other files can not be force quit by the lockdown browser. On the Activity Monitor on my mac it will allow me to press quit the karabiner processes but it will just come back and doesn't actually quit.
