how did my cat vet get a picture that was stored on my iPhone? It is in my photo album and was shared with a personal friend. It just showed up on my cat vets Xmas card😳

Does your friend use the same vet? Is it such a wonderful picture that your friend felt the need to share it with somebody else who uses the same vet?
It might help if you asked the vet where s/he got the image. Certainly save a lot of guesswork.
Well, seriously, no one can know what you and the vet and your cat did, and the cat's not talking. Only thing left is to ask the vet. We sure don't know.

Google is notorious for that sort of piracy. I won't have any Google software on my Mac.
I did NOT join a Google map forum but found myself on it. I unsubscribed but now suspect either google and/or Nextdoor or both have been hacked or compromised including members of a Nextdoor neighborhood. Isn’t google maps for directions?
Yes I did think of that. I know they did not take the picture. Guess the issue is how do people get access to my photos if I haven’t put them on Instagram or ? Just in my photo album. 😵💫
