I want to buy a present for my gf and as a musician she needs 12.9-inch tablet for music reading purposes. So what do you think is it worth buying the iPad Pro M2 12.9 now or wait till iPad Air 6th released with 12.9’’?
And also what approximately will bw the price difference?

Unlikely an iPad air would be released with a 12.9" screen, and since Apple has not announced anything like that, we cannot speculate on it or whether it would have a price difference with the current 12.9" iPad Pro.
As no new iPads are likely to be released until at the very earliest March, you would have to consider whether the gift can wait that long to find out if a hypothetical 12.9" iPad Air materializes then.
If you need a 12.9" iPad the M2 iPad Pro is currently and for the foreseeable future the only option.

I would say go for the larger storage rather than the newer CPU.
Reading music does not require very powerful CPU, but may require more storage depending on the music files size and amount of them.
