My Macbook Pro M3 Pro does not recognize connected DSLR camera
please help to understand. I tried to connect my Nikon D7100 DSLR to my Macbook Pro M3 Pro laptop which I bought 3 days ago, and I am a completely new person in the Apple world after 15 years of using Windows machine, and the laptop completely ignored it, it does not recognize it. my cable is fine, the camera is fine, connected fine, every single aspect that you know is fine, because one second later I connected to my Windows laptop it is visible, I can copy my photos from the camera to the laptop I can tether shoot via Adobe Lightroom and so on. please help what should I do?? the only thing that bothers me is the USB C to USB A adapter which I use because on MacBook there is no USB A connection but the same time I imagine it is also not possible because with the same adapter, I tried to connect my two HDD drives and they work perfectly fine, they are visible they are working
