If you're asking if you can use the screen of a Mac notebook or an iMac as a display for a PS5, the answer is "No."

If you are looking to record gameplay, there may be specialized hardware and software you can buy to do this. You would need something like:

  • A HDMI splitter – to clone the signal from your PS5, so you can send one copy to your regular monitor, and the other to a HDMI capture card
  • An external HDMI capture card (which might attach via USB / USB-C or Thunderbolt 3) and capture software – which might come with the card

This assumes that your PS5 is not putting DRM on the video signal when you are playing a game. Most commercial movies (DVD-Video or Blu-Ray) are encumbered with DRM, and most external HDMI capture cards will only capture non-DRMed video.

How do you put ps5 disc in macbook

Macs never came with built-in Blu-Ray drives. You can buy external Blu-Ray drives for Macs, and you may even be able to buy software to play commercial Blu-Ray movies off those drives. But being able to physically place a PlayStation 5 disc into a drive won't let you play PS5 games on a Mac. The Mac and PS5 platforms are different both in terms of hardware and in terms of the operating system.

If you are looking for games, look for ones designed for the Mac. You can buy games for the Mac from the App Store, or in some cases, from other developer sites. There is also the Apple Arcade "subscription" service.
