iPhone Stuck on Connect to iTunes Screen, What should I do Next?

My iPhone getting stuck on the "Connect to iTunes" screen, as this device seems to be unable to connect to iTunes, which prevents it from being activated. I believe this issue can occur due to various reasons, such as software updates, physical damage, or complications with hard resets.

I'm hopeful that the forum community can assist me with their expertise and advice.

Quickly press and release the Volume Up button; then do the same on the Volume Down button; finally press and hold down the Power button until you see the Apple logo.

If you are the lucky guy, then your iPhone will reboot and go back to normal. However, many people fail in this way and need some other methods: https://www.sysgeeker.com/blog/iphone-stuck-on-connect-to-itunes-screen.html

Don't fret, though! There are a few tricks you can try to coax your iPhone back to life. Here's a quick rundown:

  1. Force Restart: This is the first go-to move. It's like giving your iPhone a little nudge to wake up. How you do it depends on your iPhone model:
    • For iPhone 6s and earlier: Hold down both the Home and the Top (or Side) buttons until you see the Apple logo.
    • For iPhone 7 and 7 Plus: Press and hold both the Volume Down and the Side buttons until the Apple logo pops up.
    • For iPhone 8 and later: Quick press and release the Volume Up button, then the Volume Down button, followed by a long press on the Side button until the Apple logo appears.

2. Try Updating via iTunes or Finder: Sometimes, your iPhone just needs a fresh start. Connect it to your computer, open up iTunes (or Finder if you're on macOS Catalina or later), and see if you can update the software. This might kick it back into gear without wiping your data.

3. Restore as a Last Resort: If all else fails, you might have to restore your iPhone to factory settings through iTunes or Finder. Heads up, though – this will erase all your data, so hopefully, you've got a backup lying around somewhere.

It's also a good idea to check for any physical issues with your iPhone or the cable you're using, just in case there's something simple you can fix.

Hello, Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer. An outdated version might not be compatible with your iPhone's software, especially if you've updated the iPhone's iOS recently.

Sometimes iphones don't recognize iTunes, try putting your device in recovery mode. To do this, hold down the Home button and the Power (sleep/wake) button simultaneously. Keep holding both buttons until you see the Apple logo appears on the screen. Release the Power button, but continue to hold down the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.

Once in recovery mode, iTunes should prompt you with options to restore or update your iPhone. Select the appropriate option.
