Metro Exodus crashing on startup on MacBook Pro with M3 pro

Hi guys,

I'm trying to run the Metro Exodus game on my MacBook Pro with M3 Pro 12 core. It keeps crashing when I try to start the game.

I've looked into solutions online and I've tried:

• reinstalling the game
• updating the OS
• verifying the game files
• setting the application setting to "scale to fit below built-in camera"
• changing the names of the intro video files (as it's crashing on startup, some have fixed the issue by doing this)

But nothing allows it to start the game on the internal screen. The game does run when I plug in an external monitor and use this as my main screen, so I assume something must be going wrong with driving the internal display resolution.

Does anyone know a solution?
