I get a tracking notification for my airpods pro.

I recently purchased a new set of airpods pro 2nd gen from Amazon. I first tried them with my sister's phone and then with my own. But I don't see the airpods registered in the devices section for either of us. I regularly get a the tracking notification that states something along the lines - the owner of this device can see your location.

I have tried all the remedies mentioned online but I am still getting the notification. I'm worried that someone else has registered the device to their account since it's not registered to either mine or my sister's accounts.
