Cost of Apple Care for new 10th Generation iPad?

I just bought a 10th Generation Ipad as a Christmas Gift from Best Buy and would like to purchase an Apple Care for it.

Best Buy would include it with a Best Buy membership plan at a very high cost, but I only want the Apple Care.

What does it cost?

$3.49 a month or $69 for 2 year coverage as a single payment.
