Visual fade in/out key command

Is there a key command/shortcut for adding a visual fade in and fade out to a clip?

There's cmd+T which adds a crossfade which is not what I'm looking for. Of course I can add fades manually in the opacity but doing this for a lot of clips or even special pasting it to all clips takes way more time than a simple key command would.

Is there such a thing?

How I do Linear Opacity Keyframe in FCP 11 Hello friends In the opening of the video I prepared, the first image opens very slowly, in 10'seconds from the dark. However, when I keyframe, the software automatically gives easy in - easy out. I want it to be a linear flow instead. While it is possible to do this on the transform side, I could not find it in opacity in any way. I wanted to ask here.

Okay. So I’m actually looking to fade in/out the transparency of overlaying clips. Is there a way to assign that to cmd+T?

You know you can nudge clips in the timeline with the keyboard.

You probably need to zoom in quite a bit to see a 1 frame gap. After shortening their duration and with them still selected, press Cmd-T to get fades on the beginning and end of each selected clip.
