my Lacie hard drive works fine on other computers but docent show or can access on iMac? any ideas?

I have a 2TB Lacie external SSD that works fine on other pC's but docent show on iMac. Connection is ok can see it there but can access

Thumb Drive Problems When I plug in a thumb drive, (or external SSD) the dialog appears on screen to allow access for a split second and disappears. So none of my drives will now connect. This is only since upgrading to MacOS Sonoma. The dedicated drive I use for Time Machine works just fine. Any help very much appreciated.

WD Elements external drive not recognized by new MacBook Pro I have a WD Elements external drive that I used with Time Machine on my old Macbook Air. I am trying to use it with my new MacBook Pro (running Tahoe 26.3) but it is not recognizing the drive. I checked the boxes to show external drives in finder settings, and the power light on the drive is illuminated. I ran first aid in Disk Utility. I restarted a couple times. Any ideas?

External Hard drive doesn't show up I have a Seagate portable 5TB drive. It shows up on my old mac running El Capitan, but when I plug it into my new imac (running Big Sur), it doesn't show anywhere. It doesn't even show in Disk Utiltity on the new imac. I even tried reformatting it on the El Capitan mac, and then plugging it into the new imac, and no luck. Any suggestions on how to get it to appear? Thank you!
