Apple Music shuffle grouping albums

I use apple music and often use the shuffle feature for running, working, etc. but find that songs are grouped by album or artist so there will be a few songs in a row from the same album. I don’t think this is just a “it’s random so any song is as likely as any other to come up” situation because this has consistently happened on different playlists. Is anyone else having this problem? If so do you know any way to fix it? Thank you.
