Bone conductive earphones
I wear the new “bone conduction” headphones that play sound into the jawbone and do not send sound into the ear canal to the eardrum. I get warnings from the “Apple Health” app about headphone time and hearing loss. These volume standards are based on Apple Earbuds pumping standard speaker sound into the ear canal to the ear drum. Does anyone know factual data/info on bone conduction sound vs earbud sound doing damage to a person’s hearing?
