iPhone Unavailable - There is no option to unlock with passcode

My iPhone X shows (iPhone Unavailable) after wrong passcode typed 12 times by child, I know my Apple ID and Password and the iPhone Unlock passcode as well but there is no option to enter my phone passcode and unlock the phone. Please help me to open my iPhone as I don't have any backup since 4-5 years, I know my phone passcode and I know my apple ID password as well. It is my phone only and it is my data only, it is not lost phone or stolen phone. I can provide you all details and varification that it is my phone only.

Please please help me to open my iphone or atleast show me how to take the backup when it is Unavailable showing before formating. Please ... Please ....

There is erase data or format the iphone option is given, but there should be one option given to allow apple ID password or Unlock the screen, it is not fair like this only 12 times wrong passcode and phone is gone.

The issue happens with iPhone X that I kept as it is showing Unavailable, I don't want to format or erase data to use it again, please give me support for entering my passcode once at least so that I can take backup with iTune. Please help me.... support... Thank you....

Hi, I'm so sorry for the your situation, the most effective way is to contact the Apple Support, maybe in-store, and confirm that's your device. Otherwise you will need to erase your iPhone:

  1. If you enable Find My, you can login iCloud.com, and click Find My iPhone, erase it.
  2. Notice: Please try back up on iTunes first, or if you can back up on iCloud, although your iPhone get locked.
  3. If your data does matter, and cannot back up before erasing your iPhone,

When a device becomes unavailable, the data is gone.

What is still available in iCloud will still be available, and what is available in a backup will be available.

What isn’t backed up and isn’t in iCloud, and isn’t copied elsewhere, is gone.

The only way to mark data as being valuable is with a backup. Otherwise, you’re one drop, one dunk, one ding, one fire, one theft, one loss, or one password-brute-force-attack-unavailable away from data loss.

There are a few steps you can try:

  • Wait for Some Time:

After multiple incorrect passcode attempts, your iPhone may be temporarily disabled. Wait for some time, and the "iPhone Unavailable" message may disappear. Try unlocking your iPhone again.

  • Connect to iTunes/Finder:

Connect your iPhone to a computer with iTunes (or Finder, if you're using macOS Catalina or later). Open iTunes/Finder and see if your device is recognized. If prompted for a passcode on the device or to "Trust This Computer," you might need to wait until the "iPhone Unavailable" message disappears.

  • Force Restart:

Perform a force restart on your iPhone. For an iPhone X, XS, XS Max, or XR, press and quickly release the Volume Up button, then press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Finally, press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.

  • Use Recovery Mode:

If the above steps don't work, you might need to put your iPhone into Recovery Mode. Be aware that this process will erase your device if you can't authenticate it. Follow the steps provided by Apple to enter Recovery Mode and restore your iPhone: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  • Contact Apple Support:

If none of the above solutions work, it's advisable to contact Apple Support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional guidance based on your specific situation.

Remember, it's crucial to have a backup of your iPhone data regularly to avoid data loss in situations like this. If you can access your device again, consider setting up regular backups to prevent such issues in the future.
