I think my Macbook Air 2019 has a broken LCD

I had something wedged in between my keyboard and screen and closed it without giving it a second thought and now theres really thin lines going horizontally across my screen and colour displayed on my macbook is a bit off. However theres also more noticeable thicker lines at the bottom that randomly flicker, is this just a case of a damaged LCD or is it a cracked screen? Also how much would it be to repair in AUD?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.7

You cracked your screen. That will required a rather expensive replacement the cost of which you will likely have to pay. AppleCare + MAY offer warranty protection if you bought it.

Cost will likely be on the order is $200US; but that can vary. I know personally of one replacement that was $852US. You'll need to figure the AU cost based on the daily exchange rate for those numbers. No real idea what it'll specifically cost down under ... call a store.
