The sound effects in “Words with Friends” go mute a minute or so after beginning a game. If I close out the game and restart it will work fine but after a minute or so it will go mute again.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game as well as shut my iPad down and restarted it to no avail. I have also closed out all the background applications.
Is Anyone else having this problem or is it just me.

ill have to see but so far so good. I went into “Settings / Sounds / System Sounds”and turn off “Lock Sound”. It appears that has resolved the issue. Fingers crossed.
The problem wasn’t corrected after all. Wishful thinking on my part. I reached out to the developer and they said they are aware of the problem and it should be corrected in a future update. So, I guess there is nothing to do on this end. We’ll see.
I hate that app for so many reasons. Email the developer, they may have a fix for you. They will eventually respond, you’ll have to be patient.
