I'm having a hard time reinstalling my Macbook Air mid 2011. When I tried to install it, it shows I need to sign in to download from the App Store. But when I tried to log in, it says connection failed and I have a stable internet connection. Then what is the problem with it?

If so you will be unable to reinstall any version of macOS on that Mac from Apple's Recovery servers. They unexpectedly removed that ability a number of months ago without any warning or explanation.

The particular HS version shouldn't be a factor.
Start with How to download and install macOS - Apple Support, and scroll down to Lion 10.7. Is that what you were doing? That's the right way to do it, but there may be workarounds if it does not work.
If that's what you were doing I'll attempt the same on an eligible Mac in an attempt to duplicate it.
In that case the only practicable way you are likely to get High Sierra reinstalled on that Mac is to ask an Apple Store to do it.

I already erased my ssd and other partition, so what I am doing was installing thru the mac utilities by press the command+r what I am confusing is that what I saw on youtube was they were not asked for to sign in through app store in order to continue the installation.
My pleasure. Please let me know what they have to say. Just be patient, and prepare for "your Mac is no longer supported, sorry" because that's essentially true. If you're fortunate you will catch them when they're not too busy.

Yes you are right, for now I don't have any operating system and No I don't have any other Mac device. If that so, is there still any other way for me to get an OS install?
