Spam emails flooding the internet due to a major flaw in iPad’s construction

The primary reason is because iPads are configured to automatically open an email in the reading pane when you click on one of the mail folders. ie. junk or inbox. The same is true when deleting all the spam in the junk folder by selecting edit, select all and delete. This process of automatically opening emails is a major defect in iPad’s construction because, as everyone knows, spammers are able to embed pixels and other nefarious objects into the headers of emails that alerts them when an email is opened resulting in more and more spam being sent to the unsuspecting victim’s address.

Does anyone know of a way around this problem whereby emails do not open until you click on them individually? If anyone is kind enough to respond, please don’t offer advice about filtering and blocking email addresses because I have done all that and it is a total waste of time and doesn’t resolve the serious problem of spam emails flooding the internet.

iPad, iPadOS 17
