I forgot my encrypted password for my back up

I have completely forgot my Encrypted Backup Password, it has family photos on my Iphone how can i have the password turned off? So i can restore my backup and have all the photos from that back up


I was buying a new Iphone and i clicked back up with encrypted password and created a password by mistake. It has family photos on the encrypted backup and i need to get those photos back. What can i do to have the password removed from a backup that was done in February

Unfortunately, you won't be able to access the backup without the correct password that was assigned at the time.


It's really frustrating because Apple's support document on this is more of a Catch 22 than anything else. You can set up a new password for new backups, but the new password won't allow you to access the old backup that you need.
