move music from iPhone to mac

Mac computer lost music library but it's still available on the iPhone. How do I transfer the music library to the Mac Studio?

Moving music between Mac and iPhone I used to be able to add a CD to my Mac, then add one or more tracks to my iPhone. I could also move them the other way. Not now (7/3/2025). I've been unable to find a way that doesn't involve deleting all the music on my phone. I'm not an Apple Music subscriber, by the way. Can anyone suggest a way to manually move music files back and forth? I'm out of ideas and patience.
