iCloud and FindMy greyed out in settings

My iCloud and find my is greyed out in my settings, I am on a iPhone 13 Pro Max, my software is up to date with 17.2.1. I have tried all the following things I found online

  • restarting the phone (several times after trying the methods below)
  • checking software is up to date
  • checking screen time content and privacy restrictions are off
  • Checked to make sure my iPhone storage isn’t full
  • Checked that I have no vpn restrictions
  • checked my internet connection
  • low power mode is off

I have a banner on the first page of my settings that says “some iCloud data isn’t syncing” and when I select it and try to “resume data sync” it spins and then goes back the same message.

On you iPhone:

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Scroll down to Screen Time.
  3. Scroll down to Content & Privacy Restrictions
  4. Scroll down to Passcode and check to Allow
  5. Scroll down to Account Changes and check to allow.

Hope it helps!

Settings > Face ID & Passcode > input passcode > Stolen Device Protection (turn this OFF)

Before you turn it off you have to make sure you're at a known location (Home, Office, School) or connected to known wifi network, or else its gonna make you wait an hour before trying to turn off

Once Stolen Device Protection is OFF, Find My will no longer be greyed out.
