Do you want the application "PositiveFile.gqa" to accept incoming network connections ?

This keeps popping up on macbook air - along with "PositiveFilefld" will damage your computer - warnings.

some files are showing in McAfee quarantine but can't be removed or found

Cannot find out what it is or how to remove it.

Dows anyone have any ideas

StatefulFirewall install stuck Hello we are getting this message on our MacBook air in some of community notes it mentions linked to mcafee and to reinstall mcafee - tried that didn't work Someone also mentioned getting Mcafee on a chat - which I am finding very hard to find out how to do this any advice welcomed

My MacBook Air has been hacked Assistiverecordfld has compromised my computer. Won’t let me connect to the internet. Won’t allow updates. I have found the Assistiverecordfld folder and deleted however still nothing has changed. Please help! [Re-titled by Moderator]

Uninstall "McAfee". Rule 1 of Macs is don't install junk.

Follow its uninstallation instructions, assuming they work.
