Hi, my issue is when my iPhone (13 pro max) is locked, wifi is disconnected, and especially that happens when iPhone is locked for some time like at least 1 hour, and sometimes happens even after few minutes. I noticed that this issue occurred since almost the ios 17 released (since few months). I tried all the common/shared methods we know and nothing happened.
I will be thankful to get assistance.

This is not new. iPhones have always disconnected from Wi-Fi when they lock. They still do.
I use 13 pro max with the latest ios version. My brother has the same device as mine but with the older ios versions but he never faced this issue before. I assume it's a ios issue!
How about if I was outside? Or sleeping all night?!

When the phone locks.......Wi-Fi is disconnected. This occurs no matter where the phone might be.
It seems that this issue is beyond your knowledge, and it's software issue.

What are you prattling on about? I'm not misunderstanding the issue, I simply stated that WiFi turns off after the phone goes into sleep mode.
Comprehension should also be a basic concept.
I think i might have fixed the same issue with my 15 pro max. Still observing now
My phone just started doing this, before it would absolutely stay connected to wifi when idle. Using data uses more energy than wifi.

Happens to me as well. And happens only over certain wifi and with my home wifi I continue to receive notifications in the background.

Yeah, it's a crazy idea but that's how a phone works.
No it is not the case. people just don’t rely on cellular networks anymore. There are cases where i only have wifi.
and this wifi disconnection happens only with certain wifi.
