Exporting audio in QuickTime

QuickTime used to be able to export audio extractions (from a movie) into .AIFF file format. Extracting audio these days is pretty easy, but is there a way to make the newer versions of QT Player (V10.15 and later) give you an export option?

I tried Music.app AIFF import but it treats .mp4 as a music video and does not convert it to AIFF.


But ffmpeg can convert movie to .aif audio (pcm_s16be big-endian by default):


ffmpeg -i movie.mp4 audio.aif


Shutter Encoder has a GUI for that:
