Changing the number of rings before your iPhone goes to voicemail is a carrier setting, not an iPhone setting. Here are the steps for a few of the top providers.

This is not the case in UK only settings on phone itself can change
This is not correct. If it were, you would see the settings on the iPhone.
This is not the case in UK only settings on phone itself can change this so where are they. If I remove correctly on a previous iPhone I had to completely turn off voicemail to get any chance of retrieving a call otherwise phone is useless
