Its not all about battery health, the battery drain is the issue, my 15 Pro max is less than a month old, 100% battery condition.

On 17.2 i'd use it pretty heavily and end the day with around 50 percent charge.

Now on 17.2.1 i drop to 50 by mid day, same conditions, same usage!

I'm having the same issue. I applied the update last night and today I woke up took my phone off the charger checked my messages then googled what was new with the update and 20 min later from the time I unplugged my phone for the charger I'm down to 14% 🤬😤

No new apps or change in usage. Hopefully this is corrected for us all immediately

SAME HERE, I have the 15 pro and been averaging about an hour idle time even though I never used AOD or standby mode like ever, also only happens on cellular… Only been getting 5-6hrs before needing to charge it again also, before it was usually like 6.5-7 before needing to recharge, its sad really as I bought this phone to be able to last me quite a while which it did a while ago and still at 100% health

This happened with my iPhone 14 Pro. I just downloaded the right IPSW/firmware file on https://ipsw.me/ and did a restore using iTunes or Finder (details on https://www.howtogeek.com/694359/how-to-manually-restore-iphone-or-ipad-using-your-mac/)

Apple tried to force me to upgrade back to 17.2.1 to allow me restore via iCloud, but choosing an older iCloud backup solved that problem.
