Holiday movies in one place - How to edit / add multiple genres to purchases? Playlists not the answer

In my movies library, only one movie shows up in the Holiday genre--Scrooged; Elf and Christmas Vacation fall under Comedy while Krampus falls under Horror, and so on. If I want to watch a holiday movie with the family, I have to scan my entire library to choose a movie, which is tedious.

I've read some responses here on Apple's community forums about creating playlists. However, you have to download entire movies to your computer, and the playlist do not show up on Apple TV. So this isn't the answer.

Utlimately, I want to be able to open up my movies library on any device and see all of the holiday movies I've purchased in one place. Does anyone know how to do this? For example, is there a way to edit a movie's genre, or add multiple genres to movies I've purchased? If not, does anyone know if this is something Apple is working on?
