Rest iPhone setup that’s still in setup

So I want to completely reset the setup process because I logged into the bad wifi rather the good wifi but it has already transferred my cell service to the new iPhone but It keeps bringing me back to a software update. Which will take upwards to 3 days and i simply cannot be out of an iPhone for that long. Please help because I’ve already tried resetting the iPhone and nothing has worked.

iPhone XR, iOS 17

Try forcing it to restart.

  1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
  3. Press and hold the side button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.

This procedure can be tricky the first time you try it. Don't hesitate to repeat it.
