AirPods Max won’t connect unless plugged in

I just bought a pair of AirPods Max and after a couple used, I noticed that they will not connect to my phone or any device if I have not used them for a while. I have to plug it in to charge and unplug for them to connect—even when they’re at 100%. I tried pressing the noise control button and the Digital Crown separately and at the same time but nothing works. The version displayed in settings is up to date. I’m not sure what to do now.

3rd Gen AirPods Won’t Pair I’ve had my AirPods for about a year and a half. They were working just fine. Then out of nowhere they were not even listed on my Find My app, in my devices. NOWHERE. The case is charging but nothing is connecting at all.

one of my airpods isnt working ive tried to charge them both and i've also tried forgetting the airpods and reconnecting to them but doing that hasnt helped as i cant reconnect them. i dont know why theyre doing this but it only seems to be one airpod which wont work at all
