itunes won't sync calendar and contacts from pc to iPhone 14 pro max

iTunes no longer works when syncing contacts and calendars from my pc to iPhone 14pro max. It backs up fine, but sync hangs up and won't complete.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 10

I recently updated my iTunes to the latest version so as to be able to update my iPhone to iOS 13.x which I successfully executed. ... But ...I now find that when i try to sync. my iphone to Outlook it does not work. Watching the progress bar at the top of the screen in iTunes it starts walkint thru the sync. steps and backs up the phone and syncs music and other items, but never attempts to sync. either the contacts or the calendar (even though they are both check-ed to be sync-ed under Settings --> Info (check marks for both Contacts and Calendar). Is anyone else seeing this problem? For reference, my setup is: iPhone 6s now with iOS 13.3.1 (with lots of free memory) Windows 10 64-bit iTunes - from the Microsoft Store latest version - V12.10.4.2 Microsoft Outlook 2010 32-bit version installed with all security patches. itunes wont sync my outlook calendar and contacts from pc I use a pc with Office 365 and want to sync my outlook calendar and contacts with iPhone 8 using iTunes. It worked the first time but won't update the calendar on my phone even with all the right parts in 'info' all ticked and applied. (My email is IMAP so I've been told it won't sync the calendar and contacts even though it will sync emails with my phone). Suggestions of what to do please!

sync iPhone 12 mini with McBook Air not working iOS 15.3.1 MacOS 12.1 When I sync it goes through the motions but does not add or remove contacts, photos, or music. I have been a Mac user since 1989, and iPhone user since 2004. No sync problems until now.

I assume you're using iTunes 12.13.1.3. You can use Windows Task Manager to terminate MDCrashReportTool.exe which should allow the sync in progress to continue. Another user suggested renaming this file as a workaround, but that isn't possible if you're using the Microsoft Store version of iTunes. You might also choose to roll back to the previous build of iTunes. See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates - Apple Community if required.
