Hello, I use my Mac mainly for music production. My Mac keeps on shutting down on its own. It feels hot and fans are whirring. MacBook Pro 16. I have shut it down several times but still seems to be doing it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

If no kernel panic dialogue....(?)
The computer over heats it will shut itself down in self preservation.
Keep your Mac laptop within acceptable operating temperatures - Apple Support
Verify you are running no third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus
all known to cause issues on the macOS and advised to Uninstall all
if no insight—You can get a good look at your User/System config. and reveal conflicts or issues, you can download/run this trusted utility https://etrecheck.com
