Can iTunes be installed on an external hard drive?
Thers is not enough space on my windows pc for iTunes. Can it be installed on an external hard drive?

The Application itself must reside on the internal hard drive. It is fairly small.
Your music and movie library can be stored on an external drive and accessed from there by iTunes.

Once the library has been made portable, it can be moved out to the external drive and loaded from there in iTunes by holding down the shift key when starting iTunes. It should it should prompt you to select a library to load, you can then navigate to the external drive and select the ItunesLibrary.itl file from there.
