How to paste copied photos onto Notes and place the right next to each other vs a row below

CHECK PHOTOS as they will best showcase the example. So the first photo with the flowers, you see the photos are right next to each other side by side. I’ve done that before but for some reason when I create a new note, it ends up like the second photo where I can no longer place the photos side by side, now only above or below the last photo.

I’ve tried copying and pasting the photos from the first photo onto a new note to mimic the template maybe (kind of like how you put a bolded word and everything after will be bolded unless you remove the bold feature) but it didn’t work. I’ve tried waiting multiple days in between. I turned my phone on and off and as of now my photos have not been able to be posted next to each other like they used to. HELP! Such a useful feature to keep my thoughts organized.
