I took photos and videos with my iPhone 14 Pro, exported aka Shared with my Apple notes and while they appear like normal on the iPhone 14 Pro notes app they do not and instead appear like blank boxes on the Cloud using safari or my iMac and MacBook, does anyone have an idea why??
Im using Mac Sonoma on a m1 iMac and MacBook.

I figured it out, you need to leave apple notes open on whatever device you add media to the notes, this way it syncs with iCloud then all devices on the account, when you close the app before it synced anything it stops syncing until you open it, so it does not sync in the background if the files are not text, wish apple shared info about this, so far it seems to be the case as I tested this two times today.

I can't answer why the photos don't appear normal in Notes. But do they appear normal in Photos? If you enable iCloud Photos for all of your devices, the photos will appear on all of them.
of course the photos work in photos, they are jpeg photos, my issue is that whenever I add a photo to apple notes on my Mac, they show up on the iPhone black, vice versa with the safari iCloud page as well, its like hit and miss, one single 4mb photo or screen shot, none of which makes sense and its frustrating when you re arrange folders and see they are long gong at some point and cant see them at all.

If it had been obvious, I wouldn't have asked. People frequently ask clarifying questions that may seem basic when they are attempting to understand the root cause of the problem.
