Find & Replace grayed out
Any thoughts on how to get the grayed-out Find & Replace feature to activate in Numbers would be appreciated. Here is my screen:
MacBook Air, macOS 14.1

Quite a few reports of this type of behavior. Suggest you go to Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback in the menu and leave a report.
BTW, have you updated your macOS? It's now 14.1.2. Don't know if updating will make a difference with this particular problem but it might.

Thank you for getting back to me, Jason. You are correct that Find & Replace is not completely greyed out in my case. The partial activation that I find when I tap to type the text field area is as follows:

That doesn’t looked like it’s greyed out, you successfully opened the find and replace dialog.
it looks like just the area to type into has text greyed out saying find, that usually goes away when you tap and type over it. The next and previous arrows should also activate once it finds a match.

Thank you. Yes, my Mac is updated to OS 14.1.2. I've noticed that after updating the OS, the Find & Replace functionality briefly works, but later it reverts to being non-functional as I described. I filed a report to Numbers upon your suggestion. Thanks again.
