The 'Find' option in Pages now only uses a translucent highlight and so it makes it impossible to see where the words are that are highlighted 99% of the time.How can this be altered, please?

The current version of Pages v13.2 on macOS Sonoma 14.3.1 uses yellow and gray highlights for all found words. Gray is not translucent, and a click of the forward button on the Find panel moves to the next found item that receives a yellow selection. There is no changing the Pages Find/Replace color choices.
These Find/Replace selection colors have existed since Oct 2013 when the first of the new generation of Pages (v5) was released.

Wow, something very weird just happened. After 12 months of translucent rectangles for the Find option, they just suddenly went yellow! I have no idea if this is. First I opened an older document from 2022 and all highlights were yellow; so to test it, I opened recent documents and now the Find option is also yellow for the most recent documents.
My MacBook Pro used to have yellow (10.12.6) and then one day after 5 years of ownership there is no colour and I have to stare at the screen for ages looking for the edges of the translucent rectangle which sometimes help me find the words I am looking for. But often I can't see it at all -certainly not easily. Just because one has an older once perfectly working system does not mean one should have to upgrade. I would love to know what happened.
