Aura Identity Theft Protection

i use it….it integrates well in ios….

and windows….i was experimenting with their antivirus, my only concern is that it doesn’t say what company developed and updates their antivirus

Relying on some added software or a self-installed VPN to protect you is pure folly.

You already have every possible software protection, already built into your Mac, and nearly every connection you make with the outside world is encrypted.

What you need is Vigilance, and that does not come in a software box.

Third party AntiVirus is not recommended— it typically does nothing but add issues to the macOS and competes directly with Apple’s own built in security:

in regards to VPN—

A true VPN tunnel, for example between you and your job, or a Bank server would be of value, otherwise might be time to re-think the usage.

As far as I am aware there is no need to download an external antivirus as Apple themselves have a high degree of antivirus and protection for your device (one of the reasons they do not allow side loading)

As I said, there is no foolproof protection. Read this before spending your money and trusting a third party with your information.

As far as I know, nothing can prevent it. If they do what they claim, they will help with the aftermath after it happens. Ask them exactly what they will do.

Incessantly scanning your files for suspicious patterns looking for antique intel Windows virus code has nothing to do with identity theft.
