Face ID not an Option when Purchasing in App Store Suddenly

Iphone 13 Pro Max running ios 17.2.1. Face ID is not working in the app store and I have to manually enter my password. I also do not get the "double click" option, but rather, there is an "install button" that I must select. I've toggled app store on and off in the face id section in settings. I've restarted the phone. I've reset the accessibility features for the double click. Still won't work in app store. Face ID appears to be working everywhere else.

Face ID not working after iOS 18.6 update on iPhone 13 Pro Max After upgrading to IOS 18.6 FaceID is not working on my IPhone 13 ProMax. I have erased my phone and the store for my iCloud back up and still the same issue. When I try to set up Face ID, the app does not recognise my face in the square box when using. The Front camera appears to be working fine and using the camera app. I’ve also wiped the lens. I have reported the issue to Apple via the provide feedback page Any other suggestions?
