Additional Zoom options on iPhone 15

So I tend to view a lot of posts/pictures online that have a ton of small text. On my pixel I could just pinch to zoom in on the image and read whatever text but I can’t do that on the same efficient way. I tried the Zoom Text feature but that only marginally zooms in. And I have to physically pinch on the screen to hold a zoomed in view. Just curious what else I should be doing. I assume it’s user error
