hello! I have a 2011 21.5 iMac with a 1TB ssd, 16GB memory and I have two CPUs im curious if either would be ok on the mother board. One is an I7 4770 and the other is the I7 3770 i would really appreciate any help

No. iMac motherboards only work with the small subset of CPUs that Apple used for that generation. For a 2011 21.5" the list of working CPUs is limited to: i5-2400S, i5-2500S, or i7-2600S.

The CPU is not a user-upgradable component on the iMac. If you need a faster Mac, a new iMac with the M3 chip would be a great upgrade, and allow you to use the most current version of macOS.
