I'm sorry to hear that your phone got wet. Water damage can sometimes cause charging issues on phones. Here's what you can try:

1. **Dry it thoroughly:** Make sure your phone is completely dry before attempting to charge it. Use a dry cloth and gently wipe off any visible moisture. You can also leave it in a dry place or use a bag of uncooked rice or silica gel packets to help absorb moisture.

2. **Check ports and connections:** Ensure the charging port and cable are dry and free from any debris or corrosion. Use a soft brush or toothpick to clean out any residue gently.

3. **Alternate charger/cable:** Try a different charging cable and adapter to rule out any issues with the charger itself.

4. **Wireless charging:** If your phone supports wireless charging, consider using a wireless charger as an alternative method.

5. **Professional help:** If after trying these steps your phone still won't charge, it might have sustained internal damage. Contact Apple Support or visit an authorized service provider to assess the damage and explore repair options.

Remember, water damage can be tricky and might cause lasting issues even after drying. If your phone was submerged for an extended period or was in saltwater, the likelihood of damage is higher. Always prioritize safety and consider seeking professional assistance if unsure.

Glad you mentioned that there was liquid (water) contact with your iPhone. It appears that water may have seeped into the charging port and damaged the charging module. This may be the reason that your iPhone is not charging.

I recommend that you get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.
