Is the HDMI port on MacBook Pro M3 (2023) eARC compatible? Can I connect a SONOS Beam sound bar?

Contact Apple Support and ask them, and let us know.

It appears it probably does, as the HDMI ports are 8K capable, which is an HDMI 2.1 feature, and HDMI 2.1 also includes eARC.

Specs don’t list eARC or HDMI 2.1 support, though:

As a potential alternative to ARC or eARC, one of the sites I support has been using an HDMI audio splitter on a now-ancient HDMI-capable Mac mini, and that works.
