Lost the security questions for Apple ID

Hello

I hope you have a good day.

I have had a problem for some time, I had created an Apple ID through iTunes and with my email, but I have lost the security questions.

I can recover my password but not the security questions, which has prevented me from updating my device or using my Apple ID and information on another device :(

Please help me .

Thank you

Parisa

If you know your Apple ID email and password but don’t know your security questions, you can go to settings on iPhone or iPad scroll down to Mail. Choose Accounts. Then add account, choose iCloud (choose add iCloud even if your email is a third party like gmail etc) then put in your email and password. After that it will ask you if you would like to turn on two-factor. You turn it on by adding your phone number. The two factor will now be used instead of security questions. This will not work if you don’t know the password.

You can try the directions in this support article If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions - Apple Support

but note that the article is labeled "archived" and may contain information that is out of date.

If you cannot reset the security questions then realize that several years ago Apple transitioned to using to two factor authentication instead of security questions. Apple has since been persistently encouraging users to switch to the newer security system and your next recourse may be to try to change to two factor authentication as outlined in this article --> Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support Follow the instructions in the section "Turn on two-factor authentication for your Apple ID"

If that does not work, contact Apple ID support at this link ➞ https://getsupport.apple.com/?caller=cups&PGF=PGF63005

Select "Other Apple ID Topics", then "Security concerns or account compromised." This will give you a chat or telephone call option
