Desktop mac fully updated. I have 10,000 classical pieces in my library and cannot find them by a composer's name, which is how they were originally stored. There is nothing on my "View" list that will let me get composers, and there are NO FILTERS on my view list either. I cannot get an alphabetical list at all.

In the side bar hover your cursor to the right of Library, click on Edit and select Composers.

When your cursor is over it the word Edit should pop up. Click that to add and remove sections of the library from the sidebar, one of which is Composers. You may also find the Column Browser layout of the Songs view useful. One of the columns you can enable is Composers.

Are you looking at your library from the Songs view? In that view you should be able to display the Composer column and sort by composer alphabetically.

My sidebar does NOT contain the word "LIBRARY" let alone"edit"
There is "library" under "File", but no where to list by composer.
If I go to "songs" my composers, instead of being listed A -Z the way I entered them, bounce all over the alphabet.
Thank you both for writing, but there seems to be no solution whatever. Getting rid of iTunes absolutely ruined my collection... and Apple also botched the ability to transfer via icloud to my new iPhone... only 70% of my music was able to be uploaded.
