This specific issue isn't solely about iPhone limitations but often involves how the car's Bluetooth system manages audio sources.

However, iPhones generally can handle simultaneous Bluetooth connections for calls and media playback. Some cars or Bluetooth systems might not support this feature due to technical limitations or design choices. It's essential to ensure both your iPhone's software and your car's Bluetooth system are updated to the latest versions as manufacturers often release updates to address such compatibility issues.

Additionally, checking your car's manual or contacting the manufacturer's support might provide specific insights into the limitations or settings of your car's Bluetooth system. Sometimes, certain Bluetooth protocols or modes might need adjustment for simultaneous usage.

While some Android phones might seem to handle this scenario more seamlessly in certain car models, it's not universally consistent across all Android devices or cars. It often boils down to how different manufacturers implement Bluetooth connectivity protocols and manage audio sources.

Meanwhile, on my brand new iPhone 15 pro max on the latest iOS I can only do one or the other. I can't find anywhere online of someone saying this is possible on an iPhone...
