I am having a 1.6 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 MacBook Air with 250 GB. Which is the equivalent new MacBook Air model? Thank you.

Hey there!
If you're looking at a new computer, I'd recommend the MacBook Air with M2 chip. You can explore it here:
MacBook Air 13- and 15-inch with M2 - Apple
It is available in both a 13" and 15" model.
As long as you still have some free storage on your current Mac, a model with 8GB of unified memory and 256GB of storage would be just fine! If you'd like more storage, you can upgrade to 512GB.
Hope this helps!

You didn't tell us how much RAM you have in your current MacBook Air, or what apps you typically use.
But for me, the M2 13" MacBook Air would be the way to go. I have trouble recommending the base 8GB RAM configuration, as there are apps that need more than that. If your photos are stored on iCloud, then 256GB internal storage may be enough...or if you use an external hard drive to store them on.
I agree with @MacMikeInOK. You want a minimum of 16GB of memory since memory is not upgradable after purchase. Neither can the internal SSD be upgraded after purchase, so make sure 250GB is enough internal storage for the life of the laptop.
A 2017 MacBook Air can run Monterey.

If you upgrade to Catalina or higher:
At first glance, that processor specification seems to match several MacBook Airs released between 2011 and 2019, including both 11" and 13" models.
Thanks you; I use 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3.
Thank you, yes it is from 2017.
