If there is a manufacturing defect, yes. If you broke your screen, no. Accidental damage is not covered by the standard iPhone warranty. If you purchased an AppleCare+ plan with your iPhone, you can get the screen replaced at a greatly reduced cost through that coverage. If you didn't, you'll have to pay the full price to replace the screen.
As you'll see in this link, the price to replace the screen on an iPhone 13 Pro Max is $329 without an AppleCare+ Plan or $29 with an AppleCare+ Plus plan --> iPhone Screen Repair & Replacement - Apple Support

How would you know what? Whether you purchased an AppleCare+ Plan? Most people would remember spending a couple hundred dollars on additional coverage when they purchased their iPhone or if you chose a monthly recurring charge, paying monthly for it.
But you can open the Settings App on your iPhone > General > AppleCare & Warranty and your plan will be detailed there. If you don't see AppleCare+ listed, then you didn't purchase an AppleCare+ Plan.
